IndieDevAustin
I'm a user of GM:S. I don't have anything to really compare to because I haven't tried anything else, but with GM working so well for me I feel no need to try anything else. I will say that I've heard really good things about C2 though.
Phoenix Labs
I learn't game maker first then tried construct, I liked construct but didn't want to learn to use a whole new game engine just for some functionality in construct which I later learn't to do in Game Maker. If I was you I'd pick the one you like the most as there are some constrictions on gm and construct but if your good enough they won't hinder the project enough for you to need to change. Hope it goes well for you.
Reborned
I've read that Multimedia Fusion 2.5 is coming soon, with support for HTML5 and built-in physicsMy passion for game development started when I was a child with The Games Factory, so I'm a big fan of Clickteam! Seriously? I thought that clickteam was in bad shape. But interesting that comes a new version of MMF2. I'll keep an eye. Me too started soon with The Games Factory. I Learned programing with it. thehorseman007
For 2D I am looking forward to C2 and Game Maker For 3D I will go for Unity3D and UDK Since I can never learn scripting so for me C2 and UDK are best.
