ElectricMonk
Hey all, new to the forum, great to be here. I'm a web dev by day but want to get into HTML5 Gamedev with a view to licensing games. With that in mind, what genres of games do companies actually want to license? Thanks all

Ninjadoodle
Hi @ElectricMonk Honestly, I personally wouldn't worry too much about it and just make game that YOU really love making! The love you put into it, will show in the final product and you will find an audience/sponsor drmop and benny!
Listege
Just go for the game you want to make, but keep it simple. IamThatGuy
SolarJS
Casual games work great, but there are a lot of them and therefore prices are lower. But, depending on skills, they are a good entry point. If you want to go for the big money find the niche matching your skills and show the world you're superhero
lidev
As the others said, just make a game that you will enjoy making
