rich
Is this an HTML5 game though? If so what did you use to make it / wrap it?
Coderfap
Sorry - should have added more detail. It is created in HTML5 and using CSS and Javascript with the Box2d Javascript port. The scores/levels are kept in Chrome local storage (so I could put it on the Chrome web store). It's all hand coded without using any other game engines. Backgrounds and graphics were created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I like using pure Javascript for creating games and effects - see my site at www.stonehousedesign.co.uk Dean
rich
Thanks. We get quite a lot of spam here from people trying to pimp their apps, that have nothing to do with html5 at all.
Coderfap
Hi I have now entered this game into the Ludlum Dare October Challenge competition which has inspired me to finish the full version. See the entry at : http://ludumdare.com/compo/october-challenge-2014/?action=preview&uid=43425 . The competition theme is : 'Finish a game — Take it to market — Earn $1' so I am hoping to at least sell one unit on the Google Chrome Store when finished. I will also be blogging about the making of the game and all the problems (and solutions) of building a game so it may help others attempting to do this (I hope I may be able to get advice as well about where I went wrong??). Any comments are welcome.
