Unsquare: a puzzle game.

Hello!

Since there is no "introduce yourself" forum here, I would do it in this post.

My name is Paul-Andre Henegar, I'm 17 year old, and I have come into html5 about a year and a half ago. I have recently made a puzzle game, and people seem to like the mechanics of it a lot, so I am for the first time viewing html5 game development as a possible revenue source. For now, I don't have any website, so I am hosting the game on Clay.io.

Unsquare is a puzzle game where the point is to clear the screen by inverting square-shaped areas. It starts easy, but becomes really hard latter on. It has 60 black and white levels and 60 "tricolored" levels. It works on mobile and desktop.

Please forgive me if the pictures are of the wrong dimensions, it's the format of the game.

Also, here is a link to my blog: http://fussingaround.blogspot.ca/ , if you are interested. I created it when I started making Unsquare actually.

A "more info" page: http://clay.io/game/unsquare Not sure if it is really needed here though.

Thanks for your attention.

I do like the game. And although I like the simple black and white theme I still think you could polish it up more.  Check out a game called I love Squares by David Brackeen, just for the artwork. He has a minimlist theme but at the same time it's really slick.

Have you thought about alternative game modes? I really like the way you can highlight the squares to make them disappear, I wonder if you could use that mechanic and create a kind of endless game. Where squares gradually appear and you have to stop them filling up. Or something like that.  I find those types of puzzle games a little more addcitve rather than just set levels.

Also (and I maybe be missing something) but you didn't make it clear that the player can click the screen to get to then next level.
