mariogarranz Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 I think he means something like a 9 patch, also called 9 slice, functionality.I implemented something like this to create dialogs or buttons whose size can be easily changed in code instead of redrawing the whole thing. My approach was to draw these into BitmapData objects and save them into the cache to be used as textures later. I bet someone may have a better idea on how to do this, but this one works quite well.
