rich
Hi all, Just wondered if anyone has tried doing this recently: I need to know if you can draw the frames from a video element onto a canvas on mobile browsers? I know it's possible on desktop, and you can then overlay other content on-top of the canvas. But last time I tried it on mobile, which I admit was several years ago, it threw security warnings and didn't work. But things change - so curious if anyone knows the answer? Cheers, Rich
benny!
Guess you know this site already. If it is still up-to-date - it does not seem to be recommended to do so (for iOS): https://developer.apple.com/library/safari/documentation/audiovideo/conceptual/html-canvas-guide/puttingvideooncanvas/puttingvideooncanvas.html
rich
Yeah, but that piece is over a year old already and things change I'll test on iOS8 and see. But I'm not too hopeful.
inductible
How did it work out? I'm intrigued by this question too!
