rich
"I am a real fan of 3D development. Since I was 16, I spent all my spare time creating 3d engines with various technologies (DirectX, OpenGL, Silverlight 5, pure software, etc.). My happiness was complete when I discovered that Internet Explorer 11 has native support for WebGL. So I decided to write once again a new 3D engine but this time using WebGL and my beloved JavaScript." http://blogs.msdn.com/b/eternalcoding/archive/2013/06/27/babylon-js-a-complete-javascript-framework-for-building-3d-games-with-html-5-and-webgl.aspx
xerver
This is crazy awesome, I wonder if it is leveraging three.js or he wrote his own renderer.

GameMonetize
To discover what is Babylon.js, you should first read this blog post: Introducing babylon.jsLoading a scene produced with Blender Unleash the StandardMaterial for your babylon.js game Using lights Using multi-materials
b0xincognito
Sorry to bump this old topic, but would it be possible to make a forum in the Frameworks section for Babylon.js? We have an open issue on GitHub about needing a place to talk about Babylon.js development and usage, and this place would probably make sense. rich
Yes if you guys moderate and promote it (from the Babylon.js site) then I'd be happy to create a section for it here. Just don't want it to turn into a ghost town, so it'll need a bit of TLC from you as well. Lonan
GameMonetize
Thank you for your support!!! The team of babylon.js can commit itself to be present to help starting, moderating and promoting it:)
rich
Ok great stuff. Can you PM me your email address and I'll get it sorted now.
rich
Actually don't worry, it's all done. The forum is created, I'd suggest you post a "welcome" thread, explaining what Babylon is, linking to demos/tutorials and the like. I've made you a moderator so you can approve new posts in your forum, edit, delete, etc.
