sandy234
Is it necessary to provide a Tax residency certificate. I dont have one, for what purpose is it required anyway?? CrurnNubJuill33pdqwqtoe
soybean
I believe it is. A publisher just happens to ask for one because his company is located in Europe and without proof that you don't live in the same country, then they hold 25% of your income. This is also required for US, as Kongregate needs something similar for me to send them. It's called a Foreign Person's US Source Income Subject to Withholding. sandy234
Thanks for that information. So if i just need to prove which country i pay tax then i can give them other documents as well right?? Or is TRC only acceptable??
rich
I've tried that in the past, I offered them company incorporation documents, even passport scan, but they didn't accept them. I guess because actually it doesn't prove the one thing they want to really know - which country do you pay your tax to.
