wands
Hi Everyone, I would like to showcase my first html5 game which took me a long long time to complete. I just thought I start a new thread from the old one. Old Version of Blue Weapon Features of the game.Only single player for desktop.10 levels in total.3 different types of enemies. As you progress higher levels, enemies become stronger.10 different levels of weapons that auto upgrades as you level up. Fix:Mouse move much more smoothly than before.Enemies no longer get "stuck" outside of map.Added and improved the following:Added targets at the edge of the screenImproved A.I at higher levels.Added a nice splash screen showing the game playImproved font and coloringAdditional notes:Game works very well on Chrome, Opera and IE9. Firefox works very well also but selection color changes in "Game Over" and "Paused" screen. If you happen to get the screen paused suddenly, just refresh your browser once. The reason is because the music is still loading in the background.Do let me know if you encounter bugs. Play Blue Weapon now
castiboy
Looks and plays pretty nicely, I really like the visual style. A few comments nonetheless:the background gets boring after a while. maybe add more visual variety in there, likes different colored tiles, or different textures. actually, while the grid structure is useful for distance evaluation, it doesn't really have an implact on gameplay, so why keep it?widescreen doesn't seem quite right for this kind of game-play, you have almost twice the visible range on one axis than on the other, but the action is the same in all directions.the shot range seems way to short when shooting horizontally (in part because of how "far away" one can see in that direction probably) maybe animate the bullets so they burn out before disappearing? that way it's also less of a surprise.the sound effect when your shots hit an enemy is too loud, it should discretely inform of a successful hit, but it's actually distracting in an already very saturated soundscape. it should contrast with the sound of destroying an enemythe sound effect when you're low on health is very annoying, and way too loud. But really nice game nonetheless! rantt
I found that I kept going off the screen and then I couldn't see my tank/ship. And the low health warning sound started to bug me. Other than that it looks and plays really well. I had fun, looking forward to you next games
