blackmoondev
Hi there Together with End3r we have created "Captain Rogers - Asteroid Belt of Sirius" game. That's my first Html5 game (but I've been doing them in some other, darker technology for some time now;). You play as bold Captain Rogers, who escapes from evil Kershan invaders through an asteroid field.(there'll be many more games with Captain Rogers - we have 4 much bigger titles in the production at the moment - https://www.facebook.com/CaptainRogersChronicles) Play the game here: http://enclavegames.com/play/captain-rogers/ Of course the game is available for non-exclusive license. Ping me on design[at]blackmoondev.com to discuss the details. Your comments on the game are welcome:) end3r
end3r
Any feedback on the game will be highly appreciated - it's our first HTML5 game made together and I hope we will make tons more, so feel free to comment! blackmoondev
rich
Ran well for me. Nice simple fun. I was shocked at getting killed by falling off the bottom of the screen, that felt a bit unfair But otherwise it was nice. Cute graphics too. Would have liked the option to have lives, or have a smart bomb or something. blackmoondev and end3r
end3r
I'm glad you liked it! Yeah, it was intended to be simple - the code (available on GitHub) will be used as an example for a few dev articles. Thanks for the feedback, I'll think about lives or a bomb in an update if I have some spare time
mentuat
Presentation and style are fantastic! fun little gamePlaying on a tablet I noticed it doesn't scale to fit - is this for performance reasons? end3r and blackmoondev
end3r
The game have a fixed size of the Canvas now (as you said for performance) and was primarily made for mobile phones, but I'll work on it to support bigger screens like tablets, thanks for pointing that out! end3r
A small update to the 1.1 version:I ended up scaling the Canvas with CSS3 Transforms and it performs quite nice. I've also added a Bomb that you can pick up and destroy eveything on screen.
