dynatomic
I was wondering what is the most complete or the recommended engine to use right now.I heard ImpactJS is a very complete engine but it isn't open source.
rich
What do you consider 'complete' ? i.e. what features do you need?
dynatomic
I mean a mature engine. Physics engine, multitouch support, layers, tween animation, collision, state-manager, compatible with cocoonjs. I just noticed I posted this in the news section. Can a moderator move this to the code section?

Mike
Well, the truth is that there isn't such a thing ... even with ImpactJS... no everything you want is implemented And there is this project: http://city41.github.io/breakouts/ Аnd there you can see IMO the most completed game engine/frameworks at the moment. But they are still in develompent as many others. So be happy to choose... And btw isn't CocoonJS a framework on it's own ? http://wiki.ludei.com/cocoonjs:featurelist Also do you have some HTML5 game as an example of fully finished, polished game, and with what engine it was build. Cause I don't really find many top notch games, and most are proof of concept or very polished puzzle games... I hope I'm not hijacking you thread

I'll definitely checkit out!Yes, but I mean their cloud compiler to make iOS and Android Projects. There are some engines that don't go well with cocoonjs. MovedThanks! tyson
Maybe I'm biased, but Cocos2d-HTML5 is pretty fully featured being based on the already mature Cocos2d-x. Plus it works out of the box with Box2D or Chipmunk.
gamedev
The selection of game engine depends on Game development requirement. I found FlashJS, Turbulenz HTML5 game engine they are open source. check them hope will be helpful.

ChuckLeone
I've been doing a lot research on HTML 5 game engines as well and so far I have narrowed down my choices to http://libgdx.badlogicgames.com/ and http://www.gameclosure.com/ After reading through the docs, installing the libraries and trying out example projects for both engines, I have decided that LibGDX is the best engine for me. I am comfortable developing with Eclipse and the engine and community seem pretty extensive. The documentation seems pretty detailed and the target platforms extensive. There's support for OUYA game console (which is a platform I'm targeting) which most engines don't seem to fully support just yet. Good luck.
