spacejack
SPACEJACK 2114 is a WebGL arcade-style space shooter. It's got a retro style of gameplay with modern WebGL graphics and shaders. Here's my first gameplay video showing a bit of the game's attract loop, which plays demos in the background: Sorry about the low video quality, I just tried using the free program EZVid for the first time. My PC doesn't seem to be fast enough to record smoothly. The game itself plays fullscreen at a solid 60FPS on any decent WebGL-enabled device/browser.The game features randomly generated space backgrounds and a variety of other shader effects. spacejack
And after quite a bit more development than I anticipated, I finally have a playable link: http://www.spacejack.ca/ Try it out and let me know what you think! If you do play, please post your score - the replays are invaluable playtesting feedback!
Penry
Really nice ! - great to see the replay feature working well too ! after 3 (or was that 4) goes - Penry 111250 3 2 worked well in my favoured browser (Firefox) - although the "/" key is in use by the browser and can't be used to shoot !! spacejack
Oh, I didn't realize that! You can use CTRL as well, but I don't think that's going to work with the WASD layout. I'll try to add some alternatives until I can implement full control configuration. Thanks very much for trying it!
