Maras
I would also like to know if it's easy to package HTML5 as app for stores :-) (I googled some methods, but as I did not even started with HTML5, I am not sure how much work it will take and how many buggs will appear )
ghostrifle
You can package your HTML5 game/app for example with cocoon.js. Then you have a "native" iOS or Android app.

astoria0128
You can make your app through cross platform mobile app development tools such as phoneGap. This tool is based on HTML5 language which enables you to develop your app for all major mobile platforms.
Neoprofessor
When you develop HTML5 games you're always going to have 3 components, an html5 document (index.html), javascript, and your media files. There are many wrappers, as noted above, cocoonjs, crosswalk, ejecta, etc.... Choosing the development environment is more important. What your comfortable with and the support they offer are more important factors. Personally, I recommend Construct2.Very powerful, extensible, aggressively updated, hundreds of tutorials, excellent support and forums, and you don't need to learn code to use it. If you can code, even better. You can extend it easily with plugins. If not, its' visual coder will help you to learn.Good Luck
