-AAG-
After months of being unable to develop anything i finally put together a quick game to get me going. Memory Flip is a sequence memorization game, not the match 2 kind. It has 2 main game modes with 4 play styles each. Very simple stuff that works well and will hopefully sell Play it! If anyone decides to give it a go please do let me know what device you tested it on. Of course i appreciate all input too.
BdR
Very cool idea, it's similar to the classic "Simon" game except it gradually increases the difficuly.
Jhelle
Like in "simon says" this game would benefit from having sounds assigned to specific card for easier memorization. The game is simple and fun, so good job on creating this quick game. Also good luck with your larger projects!
Dream Of Sleeping
I liked the game. I just tested it on desktop. I don't think each card needs it's own sound, but i would prefer it if it had some sound effects. I thought it all looked really slick except for the background color looked really harsh. Good game though.
-AAG-
Thanks for the input. Yes, the game is kind of similar to Simon but in Simon you get the same sequence all the time with a new color added on each turn, on this game you get a different sequence every time. I do agree that sounds would make the game better (or any other game) but I'm not into putting sounds on my HTML5 games just yet. That background color! I just could not make my mind about it, everything seemed to look bad. Any suggestions? Feel free to edit the screenshot. Thanks again. BTW: Simon and Simon Says are 2 completely different games
BdR
That background color! I just could not make my mind about it, everything seemed to look bad. Any suggestions? Feel free to edit the screenshot. I'm no graphics designer, so I found this color scheme designer very useful. http://colorschemedesigner.com/ You can keep the purple background, and only use green and yellow and white for the cards, like this color scheme, or maybe drop purple and stick to this color scheme You can find other color combination that go well together, just click in the circle on the left. -AAG-
Ah! very handy tool. Thank you very much. I'm no artist myself so this should be useful. EDIT: If you set it to Accented it actually uses all of the colors I already am using. Maybe If I lower the saturation and increase the light a little on that purple it wont be so pungent. I'll give it a shot.

Dream Of Sleeping
It is still a bit ugly. The cards look really good though. They look totally professional. So it's worth sticking with trying to get the background right. I think also the green bar would look better with slightly rounded corners where there is that gap. Same with the little boxes in the greenbar. Making them a bit rounder so it looks softer. I've removed the background and having a mess about with it. Maybe the problem with the background is it's just too plain having no texture there. What about a table cloth type texture? I agree it's really tricky to get right. I'll give you the rgb values to something I thought might be close to right, but still probably needs tweeking. I am color blind though!lol r: 36 g: 141 b: 88 this a green (i think) It goes nice with the cards but you'd need to change the green bar color a bit. r: 180 g: 117 b: 117 I think this is a pinkish red. -AAG-
No, that didn't look good. I think your green was a lot better.
Dream Of Sleeping
Here I've used a slighter darker green. And used one of the GIMPS noise filters on the layer below. I think it almost looks good if you had some gradient light effect. I forgot how fiddly GIMP is.
