meenakshi kathiresan Posted May 29, 2020 Share Posted May 29, 2020 I am building a game with polygon colliders. I am creating over 30 colliders at the start of the game and reusing them. The game fps drops to 30-40 for the first few seconds (around 10 seconds) and eventually becomes smooth after that. On a better device, the time taken to settle is shorter. When I remove these colliders and run the game, it seems to run on 60fps from the start. What could be the issue? PS- I have already tried scaling down the game, so that physics calculations are simpler in a smaller world. That helped but not enough I guess.
