peircej
We have a JS developer job opening that would benefit from someone with WebGL skills. Are you a talented programmer with a passion for open source? We'd love to hear from you. The job is developing an open-source scientific library, https://github.com/psychopy/psychojs for the precise/rapid presentation of stimuli to participants in reaction time experiments and similar, which is why skills in dynamic high-performance graphics programming would be of benefit. This is part of a larger project mostly in Python, www.psychopy.org, which is a pretty popular package within behavioral sciences (psychology, neuroscience, linguistics etc). So if you're a good coder and fancy working in open source and/or science programming then we'd love to hear from you. https://jobs.nottingham.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?id=29376&forced=2 kind regards, Jon

peircej
Sorry, I'm restricted by my institution on this one. There really isn't a possibility of remote work in this instance. best wishes Jon

Xima
Thank you so much. In this era of fake news dominance and distrust for facts, it is essential that students understand the rules and principles according to which science functions, the scientific method but also to gain more practical knowledge, for instance, on how to distinguish good academic studies or published papers from poor ones. I therefore strongly recommend that you go to https://gradesfixer.com/free-essay-examples/science/, where you can find examples of essays that address scientific issues in various fields. Essays on science listed in this rubric might be on random topics related to any particular scientific area but can also refer to science in general – its importance for society, public or educational policies related to it, the problems encountered by it, such as the problem of poor quality journals that only publish due to financial interest Edited July 28, 2020 by Xima
