rich
Woo! super lovely The stuff Ludei are doing is truly great. I'm still kind of worried about the whole 'compile in the cloud' aspect of it though. I would much rather just buy a product I can install and own. What if I'm mid-way through a project and they go bankrupt or something? (which to be fair isn't exactly impossible, it happens to start-ups all the time). I'd be complete up the creek without a paddle, and that honestly bothers me quite a bit.

That's a valid point, to be honest. Did not thought about this when using their cloud service. I don't know their official plans. Maybe it's the easiest option for them to collect data and upadte their service continously without having to worry about shipping new versions and patches. So, maybe once the service is stable - there will be also a stand-alone version. Hmm ... but I am just guessing.
rich
I'm sure they are financially healthy, I just worry about building products for clients that need a 3rd party service I've no control over to deploy with. Would happily use it for my own games though.
dynatomic
I'm really looking forward to work with the upcoming version of cocoonjs but I wonder where are they going to charge for this?
