markknol
Proud to have my very own game! It's my take on a very populair concept. The level is the same everytime (seeded random) so you can improve your score and get better Its available as html5 game (webgl+canvas, works on a lot of mobile devices), in the Android PlayStore and the Appstore is on its way!Play now, and share your scorehttp://games.stroep.nl/the-firefly
Sebi
The game is pretty boring because its just another flappy bird clone, nothing original. Also you are going to get banned from google adsense because you are clearly violating their tos by displaying ads in that game. markknol
Why is it agains googles tos to display ads in the game?
Sebi
Maybe read the TOS.
Aduros
I like the game Similar controls while bringing in a couple different mechanics, I like the tactics involved in bouncing off the ceiling. Calling this a clone seems a bit flippant. I think you're ok with the ads. Since Google shut down mobile web support in Admob, they've recommended those people use Adsense. So, Adsense is allowed for mobile web, but just not embedded in native apps. That said... there's a weird clause in their TOS about no "software applications", possibly because they can't scrape them for contextual ads or something. Also, some people have had bad luck working with them because their support is pretty awful.

I just saw way too many people creating flappy bird games and other popular game clones, that I don't really appreciate any of them even if the mechanics are altered. I would be more than happy to see some uniqueness with all the new indies around. About Adsense:The problem is that Google considers this an app because it's clearly not a website and has no content for the google bots to read. That's one of the problems we have to deal with.So just assuming that it might be okay, is not the best thing you can do. I for one wouldn't want to risk that my adsense account is getting banned. (Also I did hear from people that they got banned by google for showing ads in a html5 game)
mentuat
Regardless of it being another flappy bird clone - it looks the part and a lot fun to play. Giving the enemy characters a bit of backstory is a nice touch too!
