Hydric Bluen
So, I need to check whether or not the player is colliding with a tree. Once the player is colliding with a tree have it display a piece of text. Then, once the player is no-longer colliding with the tree; have the text disappear from the scene. khleug35
Hello, The following example can help you: https://phaser.io/examples/v3/view/physics/arcade/overlap-zone My solution var player = this.physics.add.sprite(100, 450, 'player'); var tree = this.physics.add.sprite(400, 450, 'tree'); var DisplayText; var Text = this.add.text(16, 16, DisplayText, { fontSize: '32px', fill: '#000' }); this.physics.add.collider(player, tree); function update () { DisplayText = tree.body.touching.none ? 'Collided' : 'not Collided'; Text.setText(DisplayText); }
