mehmetegemen
Hello guys I am interested in illustration for a while and applying core color and shape principles, I am able to do few things very well and I am sufficient for my games. But I want to improve myself and sadly, no one answers my questions these days, I sincerely hope you will. The guidance I need from you is, do you know any books to learn how to make game illustrations ? I am trying to figure out few things by reverse engineering but graphics like https://graphicriver.net/item/feed-the-fox-gui/17960935 is way beyond my level yet I am mesmerized by it and want to learn how to do it more than anything. I tried to contact with the creator but she seems off from social media. May you share your knowledge with me ?

I consumed all of them already. I am able to do illustrations like Gigantic's but the ones I am looking for is in the graphic river link I gave. I think it is not something you can learn from a book but they must learn it from somewhere...
icp
Tutplus.com has thousands of tutorials. You can find there any type of character or game UI you want. Example: https://design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-create-pirate-treasure-chest-in-paint-tool-sai--cms-26958 https://design.tutsplus.com/articles/new-course-designing-game-ui-assets-in-adobe-illustrator--cms-28877 You just have to search them. Thank you, I did search but it seems I lacked that ability.
alex_h
I've found this 'Professional Photoshop Book' magazine series to be really good, just downloading a few editions onto an ipad and reading through the articles I learned tonnes of useful tips and techniques. https://issuu.com/nhantruong2/docs/the_professional_photoshop_book_-vo For the drawing style like the fox game graphics you linked to above you'd probably want to use Adobe Illustrator rather than photoshop though, so you could maybe give this magazine a try: https://issuu.com/futurepublishing/docs/cbz90_sampler
