Ninjadoodle
Hi @enpu This is just a question, not a feature request - just wondering if you are planning on having a Box2d plugin, in the future. I've made a simple level using P2 and while its definitely a powerful engine, I am finding some of the concepts and the way it works a little cumbersome. I've used Box2d with Flash in the past and also with Gideros and find it much more straight forward. Getting objects to bounce (elasticity) is just one example of what I'm struggling in P2 with. Thanks for any info
enpu
@Ninjadoodle Not planning, Box2d is not made with JavaScript (just ported to it from C++), which means it's not optimized for it and the performance is not best. Personally i have had no issues with P2, so maybe better idea would be just to add more P2 examples at some point. Ninjadoodle
Ninjadoodle
@enpu - No problem at all Just wanted to ask - yeah P2 example would be awesome! I am really struggling having objects bouncing off each other for example. Simple bounce off the floor is ok, but having everything react to each other is another story. Stephan
I might write a plugin for box2d in the future. This is because I have many games with box2d that I am planning to port to Panda v2. Ninjadoodle
Ninjadoodle
@Stephan - nice that would be awesome! Maybe in the future @enpu can make a store where people can sell their plugins to make some extra cash
