Ezelia
updated, added level 2. EDIT :here is the GGJ2014 entry : http://globalgamejam.org/2014/games/rgb source code is available. and there is two levels examples in /design directory.you can use Tiled Map Editor to create new levels.this code use my ECS engine (https://github.com/Ezelia/eee) but since the time was short, I made some bad practices in the source code ... I'll clean it up later and make it available as engine example that mix between ECS and OOP.
qzix13
Control is not comfortable and camera a little laggy. I made something like this in 2012 on Flash.http://armorgames.com/play/14219/invisible-rgb
Ezelia
haha crazy how ideas are similar I know there is a camera probleme here, my goal was mainly to test my ECS engine for making a game from scratch.I also had too few time for this code (8h in total with 4 to 5 hours in code) .I'll update the game to fix camera problems and add some other features. your flash game is cool btw ! did you tried to remake it in HTML5 ? using haxe/OpenFL for example ? qzix13
your flash game is cool btw ! did you tried to remake it in HTML5 ? using haxe/OpenFL for example ?No, I did not. Because, sponsors are looking HTML5 games for mobile, my game is for desktop. And another reason is HTML5 not so powerful as Fash, so there will be many lags in HTML5 version. Ezelia
No, I did not. Because, sponsors are looking HTML5 games for mobile, my game is for desktop. And another reason is HTML5 not so powerful as Fash, so there will be many lags in HTML5 version.for a game like that you can easily get 60 FPS with no lag, also you can add a virtual pad for mobile version
