The Role:The role involves some challenging work developing accessible HTML5 games for learners with physical disabilities, sensory impairments or learning difficulties. Predominantly the skill-set required is JavaScript and HTML5, whilst a good knowledge of Flash and server-side programming would be of benefit.Candidates must have a passion for web technology and development and must be willing to go the extra mile to achieve their assigned goals and deadlines. The successful candidate must also be a confident and accomplished communicator able to fit in with a highly active and integrated team and work processes. The Person:The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of web technologies including: JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 as well as Canvas 2D API experience. It would also be beneficial to have at least one game online, preferably more and experience of optimizing multimedia content for the web. The preferred skills for this role are:· Experience in Flash and ActionScript.· REST style web service interaction using JavaScript.· Broad knowledge of jQuery.· You have hands-on experience with agile methodology (SCRUM).· Experience with version control systems (eg.
