Guidelines for modifying the Wiki/Tutorials?

I would like to help modify the Wiki/Tutorials.  I do enjoy the existing Wiki/Tutorials.  They are really great for experienced programmers.

 

But I am teaching an Intro to Programming class to complete novices (college IT students) and they need more steps.  So I wanted to add more detail, more pictures/videos, more sample code, background theory etc.

 

TWO QUESTIONS: I know writers are protective of their hard work.  So: (1) May I have permission? (2) If so, do you have guidelines for modifying the Wikis/Tutorials?

I love your ideas to redo tutorials. I am not being an expert, I only have a intermediate level and I have learned in self-taught through complete tutorials

It always good to have more writers to help us enhancing the documentation of our engine! I will write also soon a new tutorial to build a simple but cool scene from scratch.
