dawsonh2002
First, I am COMPLETELY new to this and I'm looking for a good starting ground to develop games. I've downloaded the Android SDK + eclipse and got lost quickly. Now I'm trying out the Intel XDK, but don't know how well it will be with games since it seems to be geared towards websites. Truthfully, I DON"T KNOW! Where did you start?
Chris
Uhm, is it possible that you got a bit lost? This is a forum about HTML5 game development, not AndroidSDK + Eclipse based app development... Also, why in the world did you create your Post in the "2D" section of this forum? O.o Otherwise, welcome aboard
DuckfaceNinja
If you're not a coder like me, I think using a game making software should be a great starting point. I'm using Scirra's Construct 2 since October, it seems that making game (solo!) is possible after all. Starting as solo game developer making small game, then make something big with formidable team, that's my dream.
stevefromio
This is a site about HTML5 Game Development??? Who knew. No wonder I am getting no replies to my Cobol questions. :-)
TNelson
I actually have been using Intel XDK to build my HTML5 games into mobile apps. NOT a dumb question, you are clearly looking for a development environment for your HTML5 to become a mobile app methinks? You should also check out Cordova and Phonegap. Cool.
