GameMonetize
Hey team! We ( @Sebavan and I) spent a lot of time improving the accuracy of our shadow engine. This means that we have now better precision and more reliable shadows generator. You should need less tweaking (bias, etc...). But as the topic is pretty complex please use this thread to report any issue regarding shadows that you may have Sebavan, adam, heyzxz and 8 others

Wingnut
Hi girls. http://www.html5gamedevs.com/topic/31260-shadows-suddenly-vanish/?do=findComment&comment=179580 @Sebavan / Deltallama... is this a possible issue with your new shadow stuff? *shrug* More likely a Wingnut mistake, but I thought I should report-in. I brought some raspberry koolaid, too. Want some? Hard to get. I smuggled-in 5 packets from Canada.

Pierre Glibert
Ok, I see : Shadows render is different with a spot light and a directional light. Spotlight : https://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#557A15 Directional light : ( more smooth shadow ) https://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#557A15#
GameMonetize
It is more a matter of precision. Your spot light is far from the ground so you need more pixel: https://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#557A15#5 Pierre Glibert and Wingnut
