max123
Hi All, It's been a while... I've got a question re models/meshes imported from Blender unit size. What would be the optimal unit of, say, 1 meter? As far as I understand, if a chosen unit is too small, it will affect reflections/shadows etc? GameMonetize
Heya! The optimal unit is the one where you world fits in the range of [0...1000]. This is where you will have the best precision for depth buffer
JCPalmer
Inside of that, Blender writes a max of 4 decimals. If your mesh was sub-meter, having units be meters would mean you would only get 4 decimals of precision. In that case, centimeter == 1, would get you 6 decimals.
