ladybenko
Here's the game I made for Ludum Dare #38: Terrartisan. It's a terraforming game with two game modes: quest (in which you have to solve a "puzzle" and learn the rules of the simulation) and freestyle, where you get to build a world of your liking. I also wrote a post-mortem at my blog that shows how the game was built step by step. The game was made with JavaScript and Phaser. I hope you like it! And if anybody joined Ludum Dare too, please consider rating the game at the LD site when the judging starts. Thanks! Umz
RubbleGames
That's a nice little game, only a few minutes content but a good base to start from if you feel like adding more, congrats. Umz
Umz
Enjoyed the Freestyle mode. No end of fun when you get to craft your own ideas. This is a really nice game, would turn into a great little sim.
mattstyles
Really great work, I'm solidly impressed by many of the entries this time, and very impressed with your game too! I really enjoyed your blog post on it too, normally I like articles that are pretty focussed on the technical and the decisions behind the technical but Ludum Dare was different so I enjoyed reading about how you structured your days around a marathon of creating. Shame you missed the match! But maybe, just maybe, it was worth it for this great little game!
apanda
Cute game, really like the idea. I haven't figured out why sometimes grass grows into trees but sometimes it doesn't, managed to finish quest mode anyway somehow It might be just a matter of timing? Though trees grew instantly a few times so I'm not sure. Would be cool to have maybe a Wind tool to dry blocks back. And fire to make rocks\lava.
