DarkwallLKE
Hi All, I've done mostly top-down and sidescroller games in the past, so I thought I'd experiment with something different. I made a wild west themed FPS using a raycasting engine called gladiator and assets from sparklinlabs. Click here to play the game. The game is still very much a work in progress. I would love some ideas on how to make the game better. Let me know if it's too easy or difficult. If the levels are too long or short, etc. Also, if you'd be interested in designing a level, let me know. It's fairly straight forward using this wall pack in Tiled. Cheers, DarkwallLKE Umz
Umz
Turning is a bit blocky so that when I was trying to get the exact angle to shoot someone I couldn't line up with the properly. That b*7&s@!d with the big hair killed me! I want revenge. I think it's definitely good. Maybe smooth the player movement a little.
samid737
Looks nice! As @Umz mentioned, the turning is not smooth for me either. I really like the pseudo 3D effect, especially in some racing games they looked amazing I think (http://www.extentofthejam.com/pseudo/)
DarkwallLKE
Thanks for the feedback. I've slowed down the rotation speed of the player to make it a bit easier to aim. Let me know if it's any better. Cheers, DarkwallLKE
