Wingnut
Hi A. Here's a small read from Raanan... https://blog.raananweber.com/2015/09/03/scene-optimization-in-babylon-js/ And you should probably read about the making of the Sponza demo... https://www.davrous.com/2016/02/05/discovering-sponza-by-babylon-js-and-sharing-tips-on-how-to-build-a-cross-platforms-webgl-game/ And the train demo is a fine piece of programming machinery. https://www.eternalcoding.com/?p=193 AND, the Assassin's Creed - Pirates Demo is a work of art, too... but that was programmed by robots, in ADA. (j/k) I've heard shadows are a little slow, and sometimes post-processes, too. Absolutely no help at all, eh? But 7 hours with 0 replies... that's just too long. Your question was getting lonely. You can "glean" some "best practices" from all of those demos, if nothing else. Some of the best perf-watchers in the world... worked on those demos. Ironically, I have a pretty-fied version of the Assassin's Creed mainline source... published to web. It has a VERY UNIQUE programming style to it. http://urbanproductions.com/wingy/babylon/ACP/acp_pretty.js
Pryme8
this is a huge and vast topic that is not cover-able in a single post. I would just look up modern gaming conventions and start from there. Pirates Creed was made with bjs? waaa?
Wingnut
This thing: http://race.assassinscreedpirates.com/ Dunno anything about its backstory. It's cool, though.
Pryme8
Its script looks like what I do to deploy a large amount of assets, pretty cool. They just do a few things I never thought of this is epic Wing thank you. I am in full blown study mode now this is the type content I have been wanting to go over.
