I wonder why they are separated out like that, is it because more processing power to emit the update method? PixelPicoSean Posted November 22, 2016 Share Posted November 22, 2016 What you guess is true, addObject is designed for objects that need to be updated each frame (that has an update method), while addChild adds a display object into the scene tree.
