zpmorgan
Hey, I just wanted to share this jigsaw game I've been working on. It uses a node.js server that scrapes quality art from Reddit. ozdy
Nice, but first pic I got, the picture was taller than the screen and also on some pieces the "ears" overlap which make impossible shapes.
zpmorgan
Hi Ozdy. My model uses a weighted random selection, based on dimensions matching and its score on reddit. I just made the matching more stringent for you It's unfortunate that most of the stuff in artist portfolios is portrait oriented. The nubs overlapping is more of a compromise than a bug. It can still be improved of course, but the bezier control points use gaussian randoms so overlapping will always be possible. Know of a good way to detect it? http://foog.us/random?perturbation=.5 This is too crazy but having no randomness isn't as interesting IMHO
