erubio0
Hi everyone! I'm not a game developer, but I recently published a Chrome extension that might be of interest to someone here. It turns the browser into a gamepad controlled entertainment system, and allows for playing HTML5 games in fullscreen mode, in a console-like environment even when they support keyboard only, since it features a gamepad-keyboard mapping function. The entire project is open source, and here is its home page: https://projectpulsar.github.io. These are the requirements for any game to be played on Pulsar: Gamepad support (recommended) or a maximum of 6 action + 4 direction keys. The user must be able to play the game and do all needed actions using the above mentioned controls. The user should not need to use the mouse or enter any text via keyboard. Keep in mind that your game will be played in fullscreen mode. Avoid margins and other elements around the game in your page. The game must run on the latest Google Chrome without any plug-in. Is anyone interested in adding a game to Pulsar? It would be loaded from wherever it is, there's no need to change anything. Don't hesitate in asking me any question about it. Any issue report or improvement suggestion will be appreciated. igor.kroppli

mmcs
Hi erubio0, that project is interresting, you should mention some supported gamepad hardware. Another question is if this extention is supported in some smart tv?

XBox 360 wireless and wired are fully tested and supported. But any gamepad supported by Chrome, with a minimum of 2 axes and 6 buttons, should work. Pulsar does a manual layout definition for "unknown" gamepads, asking the user to press the buttons. 1 hour ago, mmcs said: Another question is if this extention is supported in some smart tv? Is Chrome browser available for any smart TV? In any case, it would be great if someone can try it with Chromecast or any other system. mattstyles
