steven_EXC
Hello again guys, I've got a strange bug here. I'm getting a crash when I'm hiding and then showing a Text2D object, but only when I associate it with a second Text2D object that shares a fontName and then is disposed on the same frame I try to show the first Text2D object again. http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#1P3ERF#9 You can see if you change the fontName value to anything else that the code works fine. steven_EXC
Right on, I'm glad he's getting a break! He does a lot of great work. When will he be back?
Nabroski
Hello i just came randomly across this page, i saw your code and start to debug, i also go few playground versions back, and think you are a more advanced programmer, and can handle low-level code and make his own conclusions.http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#1P3ERF#10 If people start to request many things, because they just want to bring their product as fast as possible on the market, canvas2d will grow at 1Mb js file size, full of functions, most forgotten, and unused, also when Nockawa, will get back of his holidays, he had to put an if else statement somewhere, push the children array at the right place, then again overloading some data ..., and again, it slow thing down. I'm sure, you will find a workaround, just temporary, before Nockawa is back. Best
