MrYankes
I would like to present the mighty and legendary game of endless classic tank fury in new, MMO form - http://massivetanks.com. Based on Phaser game engine on frontend and Atmosphere on backend it brings the pain (a bucket or two). It was created during a 10 hour development tournament held by SII company in Poland. Team consisted of 3 members, two of them were responsible for backend while I was working on the frontend. We've won the local (city level) competition, but now we're taking part in internet wide voting, which is the final stage. Code will be released as on Github under MIT license in December, after we're done with refactoring. Believe me, after 10 hours or rushing it's not pretty right now. Now here's what cooking - check the game (or not), enjoy it (or not) and if you consider it worthy (or not, huh), please vote for us - english instructions for voting (since the SII voting page is in Polish) are available under this link: http://massivetanks.com/vote_info.jsp. Pew pew! Edit: It's worth noting the game is using SpriteLib sprites (http://www.widgetworx.com/widgetworx/portfolio/spritelib.html) licensed on CPL. rich
Could you post a screen shot here please (it's a requirement of the showcase). And damn! I really wanted to play Please post here as soon as it's up again!!!
MrYankes
Screen shots submitted. Also, server is up and running. I think we'll be switching our hosting provider - currently I can say it seems to suck. PS. Did you vote? =[
rich
That was great fun Just had what looked like an 8 tank battle. Are they going to accept votes not in Polish?
Garthog
Not bad, but it misses a chat =p !
MrYankes
Indeed they are acceptable. Edit: @Garthog: We have a lot of planned features on our TODO list, but can't add anything till 15th December - tournament rules.

MrYankes
Thanks @Mike. I also have nothing against adding this little product to the phaser game list.
rich
The only thing I felt it was really missing was a score! I wanted to know who was in the lead
MrYankes
Swear it's on the list of upcoming features - like I said, our code is frozen solid until the 15th of December. Adding stuff before that date would be unfair.
Orillian
The only thing I felt it was really missing was a score! I wanted to know who was in the lead I'd have to agree with this and one other small little detail, smooth out cornering. Nothing more frustrating than getting stuck on a 1 pixel corner. Otherwise...I only wish there were more people to blow up! Regards,O.
