I've developed a simple scene that is populated by 36 boxes. I want to dynamically add and delete boxes so that I can place an arbitrary number of boxes on the scene depending on keyboard input.

 

Is there a recommended way to delete boxes?  My basic algorithm will be

 

1) if there are any old boxes in the scene, get rid of them.

2) Create a new set of n boxes

3) Repeat based on keyboard commands.
