Samuel Girardin
Hi, Maybe some of you have already seen a short video of this project, it's now online ! http://visualiser.fr/Babylon/cloud/index.html The project is about 50 mo... this is due to the number of wind data files (4 by day during 100 days). These files are encoded in png and directly interpreted by the vertex shader (for wind direction and force, one data by degree on earth, more than 50000 'wind particles' interpolated and updated each frame ). The cloud mode maybe slow on some computer (due to alphablending I think). Click on Vendee globe to start, 'explore' let you click on country and see the name. I would be happy to have feedback how it works (and if it works) on yours computers or mobile/tablet (even if the project has not been designed and conceived for these devices). davrous
By the way, it's pretty smooth on iPhone 6s even if it crashes sometimes the first time you're trying to load it. Samuel Girardin

Wingnut
Of course, we don't necessarily compete, right? We welcome the other frameworks and their fans. We are honored that these lessers are standing beside us far below. NasimiAsl, jerome and GameMonetize
