Pseudox
Hello, Fundox is a real-time multiplayer word game mixing classic word board games like Scrabble and tactical games like Reversi / Othello. Link to the home page Direct link to the game (you must provide a nickname and a password - no e-mail required!) Rules Players (up to 4 per game) must place words on a 13x13 squares board. The rack has 7 letters. Each player has their own color : red (1st player) and then green, blue and yellow. Suppose that you are the "red" player : when your words reuse tiles already placed by an opponent, all these tiles become red. You have "stolen" them, and the corresponding points become yours. As opposed to Scrabble, each letter has a value of 1 point, and there are no "multiplication squares". The game ends when a player has reached a target chosen by the "captain", generally between 30 and 50 points. You can chat with other players, play against robots, observe running games, and so on. Fundox was initially written for the Silverlight plugin and I have ported it to HTML5 / javascript (vanilla JS + the excellent and unjustly unknown Dojo Toolkit). The server is based on node.js + socket.io + mongoDB (Mongoose). Note : the screenshots are taken in the French room, but of course there is also an English room (+ a german one). Pseudox
Hello staffOrd, No problem for me. I don't know why there is this 404 error. This link redirects automatically to the desktop or mobile version of the game (user agent detection by js). If for any reason it causes an issue you can load directly the desktop version by this other link.
