It is a great opportunity for the right candidate to make an enormous difference in a small, fast-paced mobile advertising start-up. The job provides the opportunity to build games and be creative. The software engineer’s primary responsibility will be to work on our creative team developing HTML5/JavaScript playable ads. This would be a full-time, non-remote position in our San Francisco office. Responsibilities: 1. Architect JavaScript-based playable ad creatives 2. Improve our JavaScript infrastructure, building tools for the larger development team 3. Facilitate backend integration with CrossInstall’s RTB bidder 4. Optimize performance on existing creatives 5. General creatives testing to ensure a working product 6. Interacting with a variety of contract developers delivering JavaScript creatives 7. Assure that all projects are updated using our project-management software Desired skills and experience: 1. Well-versed in Javascript and HTML5 is mandatory. 2. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 3. Experience using Git. 4. Experience with JavaScript game development libraries, particularly Phaser, is a bonus 5. Experience with advertising, especially mobile advertising, is a bonus 6. Experience in the mobile gaming industry is very valuable – especially as it relates to design implementation and UI/UX. 7. Comfort with making minor changes to images using Adobe Photoshop, or similar. 8. Experience in PHP is a plus, but not required. This position is 50% game development/tweaking and 50% testing and launching.
