Hashana
Hello all, I am a 3rd year software student and currently working on the undergraduate major project module. I have decided to make a HTML 5 game with educational elements. I was hoping that you could answer my quick survey (5-6 questions) regarding which framework would be best for the project. I am currently looking at Phaser, Pixi.js and EaselJS (This will be a 2D game). https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Q6W-5x6MsIxYY3e0fDXnW0Uk7CaOUE3g-GIE2pPvN7Y/viewform?usp=send_form Any responses would be greatly appreciated and the more I can gather, the stronger my reasoning will be in my report. Thank you for taking the time to read my post
mattstyles
I submitted a form, not sure how helpful it will be though. I'm not a massive fan of Easel but would recommend both Pixi and Phaser. I can not compare them though, they have very different scopes so you can not make direct comparisons. It's like comparing a Ferrari and a V8 Engine. mattstyles
I can't seem to edit the post just the moment (forum teething problems), but, good luck in your studies!
WombatTurkey
You cannot use anything more similar and easier than Phaser. Especially w/o all 700 ++ examples they have. There is nothing close imo.
