jeromechoain
Hi there, we come back with a 2nd 3D game upgrade on Jocly platform: chess! We are very happy with the rendering, what do you think? You can play it here: http://www.jocly.com/jocly/hubdemo/chess If you don't have a compatible browser or graphic card for WebGL, here is a demo video: jerome soybean and AhmedElyamani
IvanK
Hello, do you know, that your game uses more than 500 MB of RAM (in Google Chrome) ? My browser crashed about 5 times before I could play your game

My browser crashed about 5 times before I could play your game It's true we chose quite a high resolution. WebGL are often demanding a lot of RAM. We hesitated to smooth pieces by 1 instead of 2 like it is now. But it doesn't look as good.A good thing might be to ask the user to choose: high or low definition. I saw this in some WebGL games recently.

Try and find your own aesthetic look instead!

jeromechoain
Hi,we talked about redesigning the pieces for less RAM use.We worked on retopology and baked textures, it works perfectly on a new game we did that way (Penguin Soccer)We'll do that for chess as soon as we can.We have planed to work on this issue and the AI.Just to let you know
