JohnK
A thought came to me and in future if I am talking about the triangles that are the fundamental shapes that are used in mesh construction I will use the term triangular facet or just facet (as in the facets of a diamond) . So a cube has 6 faces each face made from two facets. As this is not universal I will probably have to explain it every time I did so (sigh) . On the other hand I doubt if it will crop up in conversation very often. Ahiru and jerome
jerome
yes, I agree Using the term facet for the webgl geometry context only would be less confusing. facet = basic brick, used only in the construction domain or webgl contextface = the continuous surface bounded by some edges in a mesh, geometry of the global meshside = a independent plane face in a mesh, geometry of the global mesh The triangle is the great winner of the confusion contest : it has one facet, one face and one side and all are the same JohnK
jerome
Is the latest version pushed in the engine ?I can't make a working PG with this feature up now When I compile BJS and run it locally, the feature works.
