Ahiru
Hi, is the playground down, or is it only me?
Dad72
It can be a long time to load.
Ahiru
No, it does not continue loading - console shows:editor.main.js:48 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected end of inputbabylon.js:3 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected end of inputindex.js:2 Uncaught ReferenceError: Monaco is not defined
RaananW
All good here, playground works.
iiceman
Works for me, too. We are all on the same page, aren't we: http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/ ? Are you using IE8?
Ahiru
... Yes, I even clicked your link - and I use chrome: Here a screenshot - I even cleared the browser-cache, restarted the browser and the computer AND FF does not open either!! iiceman
Sorry, no idea whats wrong. Maybe somebody else has an idea :-/
monkeyface
It's working for me.. maybe you need to check your DNS settings or flush your DNS cache? Btw... is there a way to browse the playground? I've found loads of useful direct links to stuff on there, but I cant see a way to just browse through them without the link. Dad72
I see you are under Mac. maybe the problem comes from Mac. Just one track...
Ahiru
Hmm - it seems my ISP has cached an incomplete version of the editor.main.js and babylon.js So whenever I connect from here (even with my wife's computer) I get the corrupted file delivered. When I want to see my own website updated I always have to put "?i=4" in the end of each URL and change the number every time I update. But I can't do that for the playground, since the .js files are loaded from there
Ahiru
No Dad - same problem with the Windows of my wife.
Ahiru
http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/Monaco/vs/editor/editor.main.js It ends like this: "throw new Error("AbstractMirrorModel.getOffsetFromPosition: Model is disposed");return this." Seems it's truncated at the end - there is no function close and after "this." there should definitively more? It's : Build: 1.0.9200.20602.win8_ldr.130108-1504 Can someone confirm if it's an old version or the actual one?
Dad72
I think he'll have to wait for the opinion of Deltakosh which probably will have a better idea than we. it's strange because it works well for me too.
GameMonetize
It is an old version
Ahiru
Can you have it referred to with always ?v=VERSION_NUMBER, so that all people with Caching ISPs can always have a new version if there is one?
GameMonetize
Actually it is a 3 months old version and a truncated one furthermore.
Ahiru
.... *speechless* - till the morning everything worked fine ... How could that happen that I get a three month old version delivered NOW?
Ahiru
Hmmm .... get's even stranger. I just opened a bluetooth wifi-spot with my smartphone and tried to open the playground. Does not work either - same error. Even connecting over a mobile connection get's the same corrupted file - what happens here? Is it possible that it's cached somewhere else, NOT with my ISP, but somewhere that all people from Thailand or even SE-Asia will get this cache delivered? Because mobile I have a different company, so it's not my service-provider.
GameMonetize
Do you have any kind of proxy?
Ahiru
No - and I tried some online proxies and as I said - even going over a mobile connection did not work - don't know what happen here. And with 3 different computers and one smartphone as well as different browsers - all the same result.
GameMonetize
chrome/firefox/edge have same results?
Ahiru
Don't have edge - OSX on my computer, Windows on my wifes Laptop and Computer, but not Win10 But yes - different error messages, but same reason: truncated file.
Ahiru
Ok, I found a solution - I can open it with: http://playground.babylonjs.com/ instead.
