stevefromio
I am finally looking into developing and selling some HTML5 games. I have done some research, but I am still struggling with scope. What is a low-ball (realistic) figure for generating income from each game? How many hours should I devote to each game? Are there certain types of games that seem to sell the best? Also, how much do you spend on assets (images, music, sfx) for each game? Thank you so much for your help, Steve IamThatGuy
InfiniteLoop
Hi. Not sure if you already saw this, but I found this thread to be very interesting and informative: He shares his earning reports and even sells a book on how to make money with HTML5 games. Visit his site too, there's a lot of info. As for assets, well that's another story. If you're looking for artwork, there are tons of free ones you can use, or buy them on a site. I found another thread on this forum with that info. If you're planning on paying somebody for custom art, I wouldn't know. I personally make my own artwork for fun, or have an artist friend collaborate. Good luck.
