lededje
After a little playing around with the Phaser ARCADE physics I've come across strange collision glitches. Has anyone else seen this in their games and know of a fix for this?
lededje
I've since figured this out. The player only has a body of about 3 px by 8 px. Collisions glitch out when they are that small. I've increased the size of the sprites and all is working fine now.
drhayes
Arcade physics bodies have a tilePadding property you might find handy. Essentially, if your sprite's velocity is large compared to its size then it can "tunnel" just like you'll demonstrating there. This affects all impulse-based separation physics systems; it's not just a Phaser thing. tilePadding helps you combat that a bit.
