Rudis
Hi,I'm looking for some suggestion / advice supporting multiple screens . A lot of options choose from . I'm confused , which of these works better for html5 browser games considering mobile screen sizes and dpis .
@99golems
I start with a 320x480 (or 480x320) and use css scaling in my game loop to detect viewport size in mobile. the stuff looks pretty good on most things i've tested with (iphones, ipads, windows surface, android tablet..etc..) and the only thing it doesn't work that great in is android's default browser which drops to around 15-20 fps but is still playable. a good read for me was phoboslabs' write-up on making his game X-Type work on mobile. http://phoboslab.org/log/2012/06/x-type-making-of
remvst
I wrote an article some time ago about it, perhaps it will help you http://www.remvst.com/article-28-fitting-screen-in-html5-games.html
