Mat Groves
Good morning game makers! One of our goodboys (@Hooray_For_Matt) just finished a neat write up on the state of playing html5 games on consoles. There are more places for people to play our games than we thought it seems! http://www.goodboydigital.com/exclusively-everything/ kuuuurija and drmop
end3r
Looks cool, thanks for sharing - I'm definitely gonna add it to the Gamedev.js Weekly newsletter this week!
drmop
Great article. I have been kind of wondering lately how popular HTML5 is or potentially can be for games. I know there are a few game editors and a ton of different engines available (I'm even creating one myself), but the community still seems quite small to me. I come from a native dev background and would like to one day ditch native dev for in favour of HTML5, whilst I don't think we are quite there yet, this article seems to show that its starting to get there. Very disappointed to see PS4 / Wii-U support for HTML5 being so bad though I have to say.
