JCPalmer Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 I have constructed an 8 mesh .blend that I wish to export parented to a Blender object without geometry. I can read the exporter source code. I am looking for something internally defined with the type of 'EMPTY'. It is loosely described as a node. Blender docs talk about a node "editor". Is that it? For elegant code, (material setting games), I do not want to make one of the eight the designated parent. JCPalmer Posted March 17, 2015 Author Share Posted March 17, 2015 Problem solved. I had looked in the 'Add' menu hierarchy searching for 'Node'. Only when I did not find it did I go to the exporter source code & found 'EMPTY'. Just went back to the 'Add' menus, looking for 'EMPTY' this time & found it.
