B3nac
Now I'm working on game states. Figured out how to use them today. I think Javascript Objects are a bit easier then Python OOP. I missed the {} as well.
B3nac
Did some character pixelart touchups today. I work 40+ hrs a week while making games in my spare time. So this is what I got done before feeling too tired.
B3nac
Been working on the soundtrack. If I have any timed parts or combat I'll use this track. https://soundcloud.com/ldk-16/fight-scene. That's my soundcloud that I upload all my soundtracks/music on.

B3nac
Today on my Zelda dungeon inspired game I added a Start Menu. Also updated graphics to make the game more visually appealing. Next post I'll show what I've been working on after I'm somewhat satisfied.
B3nac
This is a graphical update for the most part. - Character animation- Tiles- Start Screen Next I'll be working on a game track along with sound effects and a game over state. Possibly some coding as well. Making the game more of a game and less of a prototype. Stay tuned!
emcee2k
Most of your body should overlap the wall when you walk up to it, otherwise it's like you're laying on the ground. B3nac

marcgfx
gave it a try. died about 4 times in the first level, every time i was surprised.chose a perspective. traps, character and walls all are seen from different angles. its visually very confusing. I did not expect to walk into traps with my head, when my feet are clearly in a safe location.I stopped after dying on level 2, as I did not want to go through level 1 again. maybe let players restart a level for now, or you will not get much feedback on the later parts of your game. edit: gave it another shotjust touching a pit, should not let you die, its very unforgivingthe puzzles are not really puzzles yetI dont know why the switches sometimes dont work, seems to be connected to energy?technical aspect of the game is fine, but its not fun right now

I haven't gotten any once so ever so I appreciate it. Now I know what I need to address to make it more fun. I designed it to be unforgiving the switches are connected to the amount of energy you have. The level restarting all the way at the first is something I definitely should change. The trap feedback is a really good point. The "puzzle" part of the game i guess is just collecting enough energy and hitting the right switches for now.
