Egret Engine: Core engine.Egret Wing: GUI editor.EgretVS: Visual Studio integration (using Typescript yay!).Egret Feather: WYSIWYG particle editor.Egret Runtime: Runtime app to achieve better performance on mobile. May be similar to CooconJS?Red Depot: Some sort of asset manager? Not sure.Texture Merger: Texture Atlas tool that can also extract GIF and SWF.Android and iOS support.Egret Inspector: Debugging and UI inspection tool.TS Conversion: A tool to convert AS3 -> Typescript.Egret DragonBones: Bone animation support.I don't speak Chinese, If you think I've got some of this wrong please tell me! PixelPicoSean Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Egret is now quite popular in China. As far as I know, it's just a Flash API built on top of HTML5 technologies. I never dive into that and don't know much It may be a good choice for people who come from a Flash background and want to continue to use it. Other than that the only aspect related to Flash seems to be the AS3 to Typescript tool. It's not just "a Flash API on top of HTML5 technologies" because they certainly offer a good bunch of tools and editors to aid development.
